All products sold and manufactured by Cougar Race cars are for Off Roads use only. Cougar Race Cars does not accept any responsibility for improper use, alterations and installation of any products purchased from us.

Non stocking items that have required a special-order request to be made to our supplier are deemed to be Special Orders. If the item is paid in full at the time of purchase, the said item is still subject to any surcharges. This may be due to currency exchange fluctuation, due to the time taken from quoting/invoice to ordering. It’s the customers responsibility to pay the difference caused by the surcharge. If the difference is not paid, the customer may be subject to a 80% handling fee and the remainder of the original balance will be refunded. Special Order items cannot be refunded.

Cougar Race Cars does not list all available product lines or items, but instead serves as a general guide of available products. Direct contact with us via email, or phone serves as the only way to find the current availability of any products.

We make every effort possible to keep our prices current on our website. Prices shown on items that are not in stock can be out of date and therefore not correct.  Pricing on our Shop www.cougarracecars.co.nz is subject to change at any time without notice. All pricing is listed in New Zealand dollars and includes GST. Dealer enquiries are welcome.

Errors on Cougar Race Cars ads and any ads do occur. We make efforts to avoid and correct them when they do occur. Prices, quantities, descriptions and terms listed on Cougracecars.co.nz are considered as advertisements. Any purported purchases made by you through Cougar Race Cars or this website are subject to review and acceptance by Cougar Race Cars

ADDITIONAL CHARGES MAY APPLY, depending on size weight and destination. Orders are processed Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Domestic NZ orders will be shipped N Z Couriers or N Z Post ground. However, 3-day, 2 day and Next Day shipping are available. Freight carriers are available for larger orders, we normally use Aramex/Fastways for wheels and bulky items. Shipping on all orders is to be pre-paid, we do not accept COD (cash on delivery) orders.

International Orders
Small items will be shipped by N Z Post or our approved freight company. For large or heavy items, we will use DHL or FEDEX depending on availability to your country.

For large items you may email us your freight companies dispatch docket to attach to your parcel with clear instruction given on how and where and when their driver picks up goods. Orders placed Monday to Friday will be processed in the next 48 hours. Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be processed the next business day. If an order will be delayed or has items that are back ordered, we will do our best to contact you.

If you received an item that is damaged, defective, missing, wrong item. Or an incorrect quantity then email or call us immediately.


Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange
All returned parts may be subject to a 15% handling/re-stocking fee. Any unused merchandise must be unused and in the same condition that you received it and in the original packaging,.

There are no returns on any and all special orders, sale items on discount, discontinued items and limited offer items.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive replacemant goods, the cost of return shipping will be at your expense. If you receive a refund the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.

No returns will be accepted of used and damaged items.

All our items advertised on the Cougar Shop website have photos showing there appearance and  also we give a description.  Prior to purchasing, if unsure of anything you should ask for more detail. We are in the business of selling parts for recreational and race use vehicles, not stock road going vehicles and as such not everything is clear cut and exact, we do our best to advise but at the end of the day it is the purchasers responsibilty how the parts they purchase from us fit, look or suit there needs.


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your bank account (you will need to notify us your account number), within 5 days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
