Always pushing the limits, EVP has revised the already potent Dynomite Turbo Systems with an all-new ball-bearing Turbocharger for the Maverick X3!
EVP owners Todd and Jim Zuccone know their customers want the most performance out of their vehicle and the Dynomite V2.0 delivers it in spades. Quick turbocharger spool characteristics and a top end pull that never quits is the hallmark of the DM turbo systems. This is a great setup for a fast dune or desert car with plenty of headroom to compete with the bigger turbo cars.
Two NEW changes were made to improve the performance and durability of the Dynomite turbocharger:

  • A ceramic ball bearing rotating assembly (CHRA) was developed to improve spool characteristics and add extra durability at high boost pressures.
  • A 1.5mm larger compressor inducer and revised compressor wheel profile gives the already powerful turbocharger additional overhead that will outpower any other direct replacement turbo on the market except for the EVP/TiAL Desert Storm. The new DM 2.0 has so much overhead that it is capable of 40 lbs of boost at sea level!

All EVP Dynomite software calibrations have been revised for the increased airflow characteristics of the new compressor including a spicy new 325 HP E85 only tune (requires upgraded wastegate set at 10psi crack pressure).

Description

Unlike other turbocharger upgrades on the market that reuse the OEM exhaust manifold / turbine housing, our turbocharger is a completely new, plug and play unit. The Dynomite turbine housing / exhaust manifold has been redesigned to reduce backpressure and increase exhaust flow for unmatched power and performance. Our uncompromised complete replacement turbocharger does not limit our design to a stock turbine wheel size either. Our turbine wheel is further optimized in size to reduce backpressure and maximize efficiency.  

Extra time was spent refining the Dynomite for maximum flexibility on various fuels. NO hardware or wastegate changes are needed – Simply siphon the old fuel, put the desired fuel into the tank and re-program the ECU with our flashing tool!

Clutching adjustments may be required to maximize performance on a given fuel. We designed the 91 Octane tunes to be used for trail riding or duning – The 91 Octane tunes deliver more power at less boost than any stock injector, stock turbo tune.
