Howe Performance Power Steering Relief Valve #6 Pressure In/Out #8 Return To Reservoir
The gauge port is 5/16″-24 thread. Used to regulate pressure in your power steering system. It keeps the pressure in the system below a set pressure level and reduces load and premature wear on the pump. The pressure relief valve is also tunable, allowing you to set the pressure to whatever PSI you specify. This will help prevent pressure spikes in your power steering system.
Normal setup on a T/C GM power steering pump:
